Apuntes a mano

  • Este método no solo funciona para los estudios sino para absolutamente todo. El hecho de que podamos escribir a mano alzada sobre un papel, ayudará a nuestro cerebro a retener, analizar y procesar mejor la información según los especialistas de Harvard. 
  • Te invitamos a realizar la comparación entre cuando escribes en la computadora y cuando lo haces a mano, seguro notarás resultados inmediatos. 

¡Los descansos!

  • Seguro a veces queremos pasarnos todo el día estudiando pero definitivamente no va a funcionar y serás menos productivo que cuando dejas descansar a tu cerebro y pasar algunas horas antes de volver. 
  • Como bien sabes, nuevamente, nuestro cerebro no puede retener la atención durante mucho tiempo. Los expertos señalan que de 25 a 30 minutos es lo que necesitamos antes de perder el enfoque. Por lo que deberás organizar tu tiempo y darte algunos descansos antes de volver a estudiar. 

Ejercicios prácticos

  • No es lo mismo estudiar y ver únicamente la teoría a realmente llevar a cabo ejercicios prácticos sobre lo que necesitas aprender. De hecho, este método de estudio es una gran forma para poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos. Además, te permitirá saber en qué puntos puedes seguir trabajando y cuáles son tus puntos fuertes.
  • El hecho de enfrentarnos a la resolución de un problema, sin duda alguna favorecerá totalmente nuestro aprendizaje.

Los visuales pueden ser tus amigos

  • Como los mapas mentales o flashcards. Esto implica que tú mismo tengas que desarrollar los elementos visuales. Dando como resultado, un aprendizaje visual que puede ser asociado con gráficos, imágenes o hasta vídeos.
  • También puedes crear tus propias tarjetas que no lleven necesariamente imágenes pero sí datos relevantes. Se pueden hacer manuales o a través de aplicaciones como Quizlet. 

Los test

  • Finalmente, este punto va más enfocado a leer una sola vez y posteriormente autoevaluarse, ¿qué es lo que has entendido? 
  • Los expertos señalan que aunque muchos estudiantes releen sus apuntes es un método de estudio que no funciona. ¿Por qué? Porque cuando volvemos a leer por segunda vez, nuestro cerebro tiende a ignorar o pasar por desapercibidas ciertas cosas, afirmando ya saber la información. Por ello, es mejor leer detenidamente y analizar lo que estamos leyendo y posteriormente, evaluarnos. Desde luego que si hemos respondido incorrectamente, nos da apertura y nos indica claramente los puntos a reforzar. 
  • Dentro de este mismo método, puedes plantearte preguntas sobre los temas (por qué, cómo o qué). Al hacerlo, tendrás una mayor inmersión y podrás ser capaz de explicar una situación más allá de dar una sola respuesta. Por supuesto que también es válido ir uniendo o relacionando la información. 
  • Puedes realizar estos test por tu cuenta o con un grupo de amigos.
